On the 19th August 2009, I asked my Norwegian girlfriend to engage me on a small mountain and she said 'yes' :) To celebrate it we had a nice dinner and a beautiful trip to Roros.

My first real sheep gathering experience. With a large flock of sheep spread out over the mountains, we went out and search for them. Armed with border collies, we gather the sheep and push them to the large flock and move them back to the cottage.

This 3 weeks vacation to Norway was all about the Vømmølfestival, Lofoten and the mountain trip to Melbyvollen, Hermannssnasa, Grønningen, Fersvola and surroundings. And spending a lot of time with my girlfriend.

Second time my girlfriend visited me in Germany/Holland. Ohh, life doesn't get better than this. Celebrated Norway's National Day, May 17th in Rotterdam and walked in a large parade through the park.

It appears we share the same last name. I thought you would be interested in 1 of my 7 brothers (Thaddeus V Samulski). Pubmed his name and you will see why I mention this. My father came from Poland and said our name was vary rare. I’m not sure if that is true or not, but it appears there is a common love for science.
